25. Remove the snap ring from the front of the output shaft. Slide the 3rd/4th speed synchronizer (Fig. 11) blocking ring and the 3rd speed gear off the shaft. 26. Remove the next snap ring and the 2nd gear thrust washers from the shaft. Slide the 2nd speed gear and the blocking ring off the shaft.

27. Remove the next snap ring then slide the lst/2nd speed synchronizer, blocking ring and the 1st speed gear off the shaft. 28. Remove the thrust washer from the rear of the shaft.
