Tiger Production Figures
If you are familiar with the Sunbeam Tiger story then you know that most of the original production information was lost under Chrysler ownership. A few scraps of information survived (most significantly, the production logs from the Jensen factory , which carried out a significant part of the Tiger chassis assembly) and have been pieced together to create the now accepted figures for Tiger production.

The Tiger was produced at the same time that Rootes was building the Series IV and Series V Alpine. These were part of the second generation Alpine roadster production run, which ran from 1959 to 1968. The following table gives the relative production numbers of these cars, along with the first generation Alpine and Tiger production numbers. The source of the numbers used in this table did not have the totals for the TIger correct.

Sunbeam Production
Model Yrs Prod# Made
Alpine Roadster (early style) 53-55n/a
Alpine Roadster 60-6769,251
Tiger Mark I/IA (260 c.i.) 65-676,450
Tiger Mark II (289 c.i.) 67633
