This original page was directed to the dealers by Ian, and promotes the sale of the "LAT" accessory parts as a revenue generator, estimated at a whopping $280 per car.
"LAT" has been variously reported as meaning "Los Angeles Tigers", or "Los Angeles Terminal", depending on source - Norman's TBON or W. Carroll's "Making.." - Although most parts were manufactured in Los Angeles area, and their address was neither the Port of Los Angeles, nor the Los Angeles (Railway) Terminal. Shipping from the majority local manufacturers would not have been by train, but by truck. The delivery address would be a warehouse street address. A major manufacturer, Traction Master, was nearby. Anyone having more definitive information on this puzzle should come forward.
