Chris Beighton accepts the Chasestead Sunbeam Tiger / Alpine Challenge award.

...and, very pleased, I accept the Inaugural "Ian Garrad Members Choice" memorial award. The award is presented here by Lewis Garrad, brother of Ian Garrad.

Some of STOC's "main players" in putting together Tigers International '02 flank Lewis Garrad and his lovely wife. From the left: Graham Vickery, Mrs. Garrad, Lewis Garrad, Ruth Vickery, John Dandy, and Angela Dandy.

Fast forward from that lovely day in late September at Brands Hatch. The car has been placed in a container and shipped by P & O Lines. It's now November 15th. The car has weathered six weeks at sea, the West Coast dock workers' strike and is finally here. Seen here the car is coming to a warehouse from the docks, where it will be "devanned".

Its first light-of-day in six weeks as I have broken the seal on the container and the door is opened!
