"The Long Way Home"
A Pictorial Exposé of ADU 180 B's Return to the UK and Le Mans

What a surprise! Le Mans Racing, the magazine of Le Mans, had an exposé of the fourth grid featuring Nº 9, with Peter Procter driving at Le Mans in 1964. The publishers of the magazine wanted to do a "Diva", a feature article, on my car in the countryside Monday after the Le Mans Classic. As we would find out at the end of the first round it wasn't meant to happen.

As at Goodwood, there is formidable competition in our grid, "plateau". The cars are organized into five separate plateaus, depending on the vehicle's vintage and potential, from 1923 through 1975. Each plateau will run four, forty-minute rounds. As with the 24 Hours of Le Mans the Le Mans Classic will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and end at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Eligible cars for this event are cars that actually ran at the 24 hours of Le Mans within the time period, or cars in the likeness of cars that actually ran the event.
